Taking action on a recent health review, the government has launched a free helpline advising small business employers on how to help employees who are suffering ill health. This will be of use to employers who want to know how to support sick employees, and in some cases keep them working whilst they are experiencing ill health, as well as promote a supportive attitude to ill-health in the workplace.
