Care First Careers Launch (March 2010)

The Minister for Yorkshire and the Humber, Rt. Hon. Rosie Winterton MP, met with approximately 80-90 employers and training providers at an event on the 2nd of March 2010 in Leeds, to launch the new Care First Careers Initiative.

Presentations took place from the Department of Health, Jobcentre Plus and Bradford Metropolitan District Council.  The employers and training providers also heard insightful stories from two young care ambassadors from Hazeldene EMI Nursing Home in Sheffield.
