Retention Workshop (February 2009)

CREC in collaboration with first direct (Chair of the Contact Centre Group) hosted a Retention Workshop for employers. Aims of the workshop included:

• Gaining an understanding of the factors that contribute to retention issues during the current economic climate and discuss practical solutions and succession planning
• Information on external support mechanisms available to employers
• Sharing best practice and lessons learned

Presentations on the day included: first direct's Organisational Development Specialist; Learning & Skills Council's In-work Support Product and Jobcentre Plus' Childcare Partnership and Work Psychology.
